General Meeting Tuesday May 2nd at 6pm. VIP room at Northline Speedway. All agenda items to be received by COB Friday 21st April.
Darwin’s Northline Speedway is excited to announce that Eliminator Race Wings have come on board as a contingency sponsor of the 2017 Chariots of Thunder Sprintcar Series, which is set to take place at the track over five nights in August.
The Dubbo, NSW-based business, which manufactures a wide range of Sprintcar wings, has decided to pair up with the series, with a number of NSW-based drivers, among other interstaters, having taken part in the very successful 2016 running of the event.
In order to give something extra back to the drivers, Eliminator Race Wings have donated five front wings to each of the pole-sitters throughout the series, which sees the running of four different events over five nights of racing, with organisers hoping to compile a massive $55,000 prize pool.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Eliminator Race Wings on board for the 2017 Chariots of Thunder Series,” commented Caleb Gotts, Vice President of the Darwin Speedway Riders & Drivers Association.
“It’s fantastic to have such great support from interstate businesses and it allows us to make the Chariots of Thunder Series even more worthwhile for both the local and interstate drivers.”
An Australian owned and operated company, Eliminator Race Wings have been producing Sprintcar wings for the past three years and have recently upgraded to a full CNC precision process with reassessed rivets, manufactured to minimise weight with maximum strength.

Offering a choice of top and front wing boards, as well as powder coating, their process is highly mechanised, in order to produce wings in a minimal timeframe so their shelves can remain fully stocked.
Eliminator Race Wings are currently available from American Tires and Racing equipment in Sydney and from Brad Hilder at BHR Fabrications in Brisbane, or direct from the factory in Dubbo, with the company intending to develop a dealer network in each state to make it easier for customers to obtain their products.
This year’s Chariots of Thunder Series will be held over five huge nights of racing at Northline Speedway, commencing on the Saturday night of August 12 with the Darwin Sprintcar Title. The following Friday night (August 18) will see locals and interstaters battle it out in the Defend the Top End event, before returning to the track the following night (August 19) for the Pope 65 Bob Ekins Memorial race. To close out the 2017 Chariots of Thunder Series, the NT Sprintcar Title will be held over two nights on August 25-26.
